    You can contact the Registry by phone, email or by visiting us at one of our locations. You can also lodge select applications online using our online application system.

    General enquiries for information or to check on the progress of your application (current response time is within 10 working days):

    Submit an enquiry or follow up on your application

    If you have any issues or enquiries and need to follow up on your application, email lifelink-support-group@customerservice.nsw.gov.au along with the following details:

    • Online Reference Number (ORN) of your application
    • Contact email address (the email address used to log in or create the application)
    • Contact phone number
    • A brief description of your issue (response time is within 10 working days)

    Ask our staff if you are having difficulties with your Registry family history searches (current response time is within 10 working days):

    Lodging an application

    We strive to provide an accessible website by adhering to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. You can lodge, resume or check the status of your application using our online system. Please ensure you're using the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Chrome or Firefox.

    Visiting a Registry Office

    The Sydney Registry is equipped with a lift for people using a wheelchair or mobility device.

    If you have a disability and require parking, please phone 13 77 88 to book a car park in our basement.

    Pram access is available from the entrance via a ramp.
