The Registry understands the stressful impact on families caused by the fire emergency throughout New South Wales.
We can assist people who have been affected by this tragedy with re-establishing their identity documents to help them recover as quickly as possible.
If you have lost your documentation as a result of the fires, please use the Service NSW locator to find your nearest service centre. The team there can assist you to apply for your official certificates e.g. Birth, Marriage or Change of Name. These are provided at no charge and are given priority service. Please phone us on 13 77 88 if you need any additional assistance.
We will coordinate with registries in other Australian states and territories and also New Zealand to replace certificates registered interstate on your behalf.
