Artist Lucy Wang on creating the Commemorative Birth Certificate for the Year of the Dragon

Year of the Dragon takes flight

Proud NSW parents celebrating the 2024 Lunar New Year with a newborn can now recognise their good fortune and baby’s fighting spirit with a unique ‘Year of the Dragon’ Chinese Zodiac Commemorative Birth Certificate.

Designed by artist Lucy Wang, the certificate depicts the Dragon made up of golden hues, rising above the cliffs on the south coast of NSW.

The Dragon is one of the most sought-after Chinese Zodiac signs, representing luck, strength, and wealth and is a fitting honour for anyone lucky enough to be born or adopted during this powerful Lunar Year.
