The NSW Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages records all marriages that occur in New South Wales.

The Registry uses the details from the marriage registration record to produce a NSW Marriage Certificate. Marriage Celebrants are responsible for registering the marriage within 14 days of the ceremony taking place.
