Current processing times

Routine birth, death and marriage certificate applications may take up to 6 weeks. Urgent applications are currently taking up to 7 working days to process.

New registrations (birth & marriage) may take up to 10 weeks to process, including the issue of your certificates.

Change of Name applications are taking 5 weeks to process.

Family History online certificates are taking 4 weeks to process.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We are working to reduce our processing times.
