The NSW Registry of Births Deaths & Marriages
records all births that occur in New South Wales.
The Registry uses the details from the birth registration
record to produce a NSW Birth Certificate. Parents are responsible
for registering the birth of their child within 60 days of
the child's birth.
You can obtain a Standard or Commemorative Birth Certificate
by completing an application form in the Birth
Certificates section.
