In Mandarin and Cantonese, the number 8 sounds like ‘wealth’. Turned on its side, the number is identical to the symbol for infinity. Perfect for everlasting love.
We are excited to announce some very special packages for couples looking to celebrate an unforgettable and official wedding on these magical dates:
When you get married with us, you are choosing:
Our special packages give you something extra like the vintage bus, or the Old Government House setting - which represent iconic pieces of Sydney's history. Make your wedding more memorable by linking your new life with a part of old Sydney.
Get married in style with this wonderful wedding package! Your experience includes riding on one of Sydney's vintage buses and enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of beautiful Sydney Harbour and the iconic Sydney Opera House – a perfect setting for your wedding photos! It all takes under an hour, including the bus trip to and from Milsons Point station.
The vintage bus is from 1959 (yes, 59 years old!) and is in the original green and cream livery of the Sydney bus fleet.
This unique wedding experience includes:
Celebration afterwards (not included): There are plenty of dining options at Milsons Point and Kirribilli (just the other side of the station).
Step back into history on the steps of Australia's oldest surviving public building! Built 1799-1816, Old Government House (located in beautiful Parramatta Park) was home and office of the first 10 Governors of Australia. The World Heritage Listed property is considered both a European and Aboriginal archaeological resource of international significance.
Your wedding ceremony will take place on the front steps of this grand iconic building.
Celebration afterwards (not included): We suggest Lachlans Restaurant (just next to Old Government House), or the Gatehouse Tea Rooms (in Parramatta Park) or there are other dining options in Parramatta itself.
