Commemorative Birth Certificate

New! Australian Classics

Join the excitement as we remember some great Australian Classics... 50 years of Play School, 75 years of Blinky Bill, and 100 years of May Gibbs' Gumnut Babies!

When you order the $77 Commemorative Birth Certificate package you receive a Commemorative and a Standard Birth Certificate (valued at $53) for official purposes. With each package, you have the option to add on further Commemorative Certificates at $24 each.

Make your selection on the birth certificate application when you apply. All Commemorative birth certificates are printed on archival quality paper and come in a framing size of 279mm x 355mm. They are beautifully presented, wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and packaged in a protective cylinder.

A standard birth certificate is commonly used to help establish identity. However, Commemorative birth certificates do not contain security features and organisations may not accept them as a proof of identity document.

Have a look at the delightful designs below, before you complete a fillable application to post or lodge in person:

May Gibbs

Author and illustrator, May Gibbs has captured the hearts and imaginations of generations of Australians with her lovable bush characters and fairytale landscapes and in 2016 we celebrate 100 years since we were first introduced to her iconic gumnut babies.

When she died, May Gibbs bequeathed her works to The Northcott Society and Cerebral Palsy Alliance. Through her foresight, May Gibbs has helped thousands of Australian children with disability and their families.
